Our main idea originated from a commitment to environmental sustainability, with the aim of reducing our impact on the planet. Embracing the principles of the circular economy, we established the foundation of Peelaste as a no-waste product. In our country, snacks with similar characteristics to Peelaste are often prohibitively expensive, and we wanted to change that. Therefore, we explored ways to achieve a more affordable price through a well-balanced combination of ingredients. We realized that potato peels, when processed into flour, could serve as the basis for our cracker recipe. Additionally, we wanted to highlight the Greek essence in our products, incorporating ingredients such as Florina peppers, oregano, green pepper, tomato, extra virgin olive oil, olives, spinach, and raisins. Another objective was to promote an eco-friendly product that respects the environment, leading us to develop packaging made entirely from recyclable materials. Concern for consumer health also motivated us to broaden the target market for our product.
